β€œI have a passion for traveling and experiencing cultures, landscapes, and the rich stories of people. I have been fortunate enough to have visited and lived in many countries offering personal growth, new experiences and insight into other cultures. I believe that all people are unique and truly a work in progress. I celebrate each unique individual and their lived experiences.

I am a mother, step-mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, wife and friend, as well as a life-long learner. It is through these roles I find my center.β€œ

β€œAs a Middle Eastern woman studying & practising psychotherapy, I have a deeply personal and profound understanding of the mental health challenges faced within my community and the difficulty of finding culturally sensitive and comprehensive mental health resources. Growing up, I witnessed the struggle of many individuals who could not access adequate mental health services. These personal experiences fuelled my ambition to make a tangible difference in mental health, particularly within the Middle Eastern community. I am passionate about a person-centred, holistic approach to therapy, which drew me to The Mind People. I admire the commitment to treating the whole person, integrating various aspects of health and well being, and providing patient-centred care. This aligns with both my philosophy and psychotherapy training, where I have learned to see the individual beyond their presenting symptoms.”
